Buildings Kitbash
Great for kitbashing, concept design, set dressing and more.
3d model collection consists of 17 modern buildings & 1 radio tower.
Ranging from residential condominiums to commercial buildings & skyscrapers.
Glasses are mostly unified objects to reduce polycounts. As a result, windows are not individually separated.
Clean & Efficient topology.
Quad based with some careful usage of N-gons.
Not intended for subdivision.
Built to real-world scale.
This model uses a scale of 1 unit = 1 Meter
Scene objects are organized by groups. All parts are named.
Each building is a group consisting of 2 separate objects; Main Body & Glasses.
Glasses and Main Bodies are color coded for easy selection ( in additional to proper names ).
2 basic materials are assigned in Max-Vray scene; one for main body and other for glasses. Very easy to replicate in any other software or rendering engine.
A UV map is applied to all buildings that allows you apply tileable textures. Currently there are no texture assigned.
Scene is lit using an HDRI map - map is included with download files.
Each floor / level is modeled so shadows and reflections behave correctly behind glass objects.
If needed, you can greatly reduce the polycount by deleting roof details.
Details on roofs are separate elements so it's possible to select and detach them individually. By doing that you'll be able to assign unique textures & materials to them.
FBX & OBJ formats are included so you can easily import it into any 3d packages.
'Edges Tex' is used in Vray main body material. This result in slightly rounded edge & corners without extra polygons. However it's very subtle and shouldn't really be a concern if you plan to use a different rendering engine that doesn't have round edge or round corner in rendering settings.
